VRF central air-conditioning

One central system, a separate climate in every room.

Ducted mini VRF indoor unit

VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems let you create a different climate in each room and combine different types of indoor units. They can be installed in new and existing buildings.

System types

Cooling only
No heating mode. For data centres and cold rooms.
Heat pump
Heating or cooling, not at the same time. For shopping centres, offices, industrial sites, schools and residential buildings.
Heat recovery
The most advanced type: each indoor unit can cool or heat at the same time as others.

Advantages

  • Individual room control with ±0.5 °C accuracy
  • Long service life thanks to combined inverter and fixed-speed compressors
  • Central control of up to 64 indoor units
  • Indoor-to-outdoor connection ratio up to 130%
  • Up to 33% less installation space, compact design
  • Piping runs up to 175 m
  • R410A refrigerant
  • 4–5 dB quieter in silent mode, low operating costs

Reliability and flexibility

Design flexibility
Long pipe runs let the system adapt to very different buildings. It can be extended after commissioning, indoor units can be replaced during refurbishment or re-planning, and a building can be brought into service in stages.
High reliability
Built-in self-diagnostics and automatic restart after a power cut. Units work independently, so the failure of one does not stop the whole system.
Energy and space savings
Heat recovery systems can cool one room while heating another. Indoor units are compact, and long connecting lines let the outdoor modules be placed out of sight.
Wide operating range
Many systems keep working at outdoor temperatures down to −20 °C, and some specialised models down to −50 °C.
Quiet operation and easy control
Low noise levels and a control system of central controllers and remote controls.
Straightforward installation
Units are installed floor by floor, and commissioning is straightforward.
